Sage Pastel Member Plans ensures free access to updates and upgrades, as well as first line telephonic and e-mail support through your local Sage Pastel Consultant or Sage Pastel directly.

Sage Pastel Member Plans is available on an annual or monthly basis.

The Sage Pastel Member Plans allow you an easy monthly or annual payment that covers you for all future requirements with no surprises.

Sage Pastel Consultants Standard Member Plan -
Is only available to those customers who are linked to a Sage Pastel Consultant. Additional benefits will apply to this plan, which includes the Web Based Contract Features. This plan will also include upgrades and updates. The plan is designed to provide consultants with a 2nd level of support for their customers for situations where they are unavailable or on leave. It is not designed to 1st line as we expect the consultants to provide 1st level support.
Sage Pastel WEB Based Member Plan -
End Users will be able to obtain non-verbal support such as email, fax or internet chat. This is essentially the same contract as the Consultants Standard Plan, but sold to end users direct who do not have consultants attached or the consultant does not want to do the front line support.
Sage Pastel Priority Member Plan -
This is a combination of the Web Plan and Helpline Plans. This plan covers you for telephone support and all upgrades and updates, as well as free go to assist sessions. Plus several other high value benefits.
Sage Pastel Helpline Member Plan -
Entitles you to telephone support direct with our National Pastel Support helpdesk.
Sage Pastel Member Plans do not include on-site support or consultancy/training that you would normally obtain from an Accredited Sage Pastel Consultant.

Free Access to the special ONLINE Sage Pastel Member Plans Portal sites - which includes the latest software updates, support tips and hints as well as frequent special offers. The sites are password protected and only accessible by plan member and their specific level.
Additional benefits in the Priority Plan include:
The priority plan is mainly designed for clients who already have Telephone Support with Sage Pastel Sydney and/or don’t have a local Sage Pastel Consultant.
Additional benefits of this plan include:
- $200 “insurance policy”. This policy is designed to cover you for the unexpected such as data corruptions, on-site visits from your consultant etc. (conditions apply).
- Free GotoAssist TM service where we can access your computer remotely and assist with support issues. This service is normally $110 Ex-GST per hour for other plan members.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN UPDATES & UPGRADES ?
- Software Updates are interim maintenance releases that correct any defects found or small enhancements in the current version.
- A Software Upgrade is a new release of the next version of the software. Software Upgrades are significant releases which typically have many new features and include new manuals, Master CDs & Data conversion.
* Pervasive Client Server/3rd Party products are not included in any upgrades or updates under Sage Pastel Maintenance Plans.
IS IT A FIXED PLAN OR CAN I EXIT ANYTIME ?
The initial entry period of any plan is 12 months, if you wish to cancel your agreement you need to advise within the notice period below prior to expiry otherwise the membership is automatically renewed for a further 12 months. However after that period you will not have access to the benefits of the chosen plan such as upgrades, updates or Telephone Support. If you decide to exit and rejoin at a later date you will be required to pay a rejoining fee.
- Monthly “Cover” Plans – 90 days notice prior to expiry
- Annual “Subscription” Plans – Renewal Notice will be sent, should you wish to not renew, you will not receive upgrade/updates/support (depending on plan)
- Re-joining Fee – required to reinstate lapsed member plan
